Tin and Pin were going to market
On the way they found a basket
The basket had a pen
Pin thought, " it is a gain"
Leakage ink made stain to his jacket.
as they say, ' you win on the roundabout and lose on the merry-go-round'.
Both Tin and pin had gone to market and the have wondered us. You are a nice and funny poet. I cannot stop smiling more. Thank you for sharing this poem.
A light-hearted limerick from a heaving heart called Kumarmani Mahakul. I enjoyed it. Sometimes a pen leaks And a riot of laughter wreaks.
Wonderful verse, Kumarmani! There is great humour and great truth here. I have an acquaintance who never sees the downside to anything he decides needs his advocacy. You have reminded me that this person is in critical need of a pen! Brilliant Limerick!
What an interesting limerick! Full of fun and humour. Thanks, Kumarmani ji, for sharing it. Written in lighter vein, this further expands the scope of your poetic skills.
Isn't that just the way it is with found objects- they end up having been thrown away for a reason. Grrr! Finders- 0, Pen- 2. I liked this limerick! ! ! !
Ha ha and the moral should always be what is lost then found may not be sound so never touch if you don't want a fuss.
