Limerick.66. A Question - Poem by Valsa George

“After marriage, is it wrong to sleep
With other dames”-came, a question deep
From a man to God
“No”- said the Lord.
God added…. “But, you rascals won’t sleep!

You used the word sleep as an amusing pun. Very realistic in the wrapper of humour. Enjoyed. (Report) Reply

That phrase has always struck me as odd. Indeed, little if any sleep occurs. (Report) Reply

Sleep has come as a boon to the man but sleeping with so many dames will surely cost him his sleep. Beautiful and funny. Thanks. (Report) Reply

This is not at all fault to sleep with many many sweet dreams after marriage. Having good sleep with memory of God is definitely nice human attitude. Very interesting limerick shared...10 (Report) Reply
