Limerick-71. A Frog's Mishap
A frog that longed to go beyond
His untidy muddy pond
Hopped along the road
Searching a new abode
Alas, crushed by a car its body was found
We should remain at the place that God has made for us. A Limerick with a great message.
A Limerick with a wise message we should be thankful for what we have.
Perils of migration. I am reminded of man's migration from the African continents to colonize the world and the perils involved in that endeavor.

The piece reminded me of the cruel fate of well-fed rats crushed by cars in Johannesburg on daily basis. A well articulated and nicely encapsulated poem. Thanks for sharing Valsa.
