Scared by his own shadow, in the dark
He sat, with his face turned back.
Behind him he heard a hiss
That made him to piss
Alas! Nothing but a mouse he could mark!
Amazing Limerick, Valsa! Added to it, a hilarious picture! ha, ha ha

i'm glad he didn't hear a spit! ! ! thanks for the punctuation! especially in these lines: Scared by his own shadow, in the dark He sat, with his face turned back. ........without the punctuation, it could be read very differently. well, NOT 'very' differently. what have i unleashed by teaching Valsa how to use comedy! ? to MyPoemList. bri :)
It's funny how when alone in the dark every sound is very audible and it does make one alert. I would be jumping at every sound especially after watching a horror movie alone late at night.
Fear plays very funny roles sometimes, enjoyed the fun in the Limerick.
Ha ha ha! I can't even write a comment about this! A mouse! A mouse! Ho ho ho!
Wonderful imagery coupled with an equally hilarious graphic gives the reader a full dose of fun and laughter. Thanks a lot.
Great fun, Valsa! ! And anyone who could fear a shadow in the dark....that person will live in companionship with fear!
