When my thoughts with rhymes hardly fit
When words and phrases fail sadly to hit
I turn to limerick
It is a clever trick
This I don't hesitate to admit!
I very much enjoyed your limerick! I myself have a trick: counting syllables! :)
Ah, you do a wonderful job at limerick, in the first two lines you have placed the frustration that I continually find myself in, except you seem to master all facets of poerty, I always enjoy your heartfelt poems
I like that! But my mind doesn’t work as good with limerick and I have to resort to other means. Thanks Valsa. Always enjoy your limericks.
A wonderful Limerick Valsa. May be I should also try. Loved it.
Valsa George you are one of my teachers and I have learnt a lot from you. I also do the same. You admit and I confess. A great Limerick.
yes, valsa, sometimes we feel we ought to be writing a poem, the moment is ripe for one, and all we come up with is bubkes (which is yiddish for beans) . muse o muse where art thou? i relate. -glen
Your limericks are always a hit With humor filled and so exquisite Simple lines that are full of glee And everyone seems to agree You are surely the favourite Thanks Valsa.
Loke, you are much more gifted than I am.... Your comments so beautifully rhyme They sound musical like wind chime You have a rare gift To pick words that rightly fit Astonishingly you do it in no time
