Limerick R37 Writer's Block Poem by Rajnish Manga

Limerick R37 Writer's Block

Rating: 4.8

One poet received a rejoicing email;
That the Govt. has approved in detail;
Construction of a colony,
To remove writers' agony,
Sceptics blurted ‘It wiil be in Central Jail'.

Initially I thought it was about the 'writer's block' which we all feel from time to time! But now I understand it is a colony for all ailing and dejected writers and poets! The poor writer's need a special colony....... Of course not the central jail! Quite humorous!

A serious yet witty limerick. Who among us does not suffer from writers block at times?

I don't know what happens in India but in Pakistan Faiz and Hbib Jalib faced a lot of mental and physical tortures in the jails. A super poem.
