Limerick- Tragic Fate

Rating: 5.0

After his booze, he climbed up a hill
Lost his balance and awkwardly fell
Landing in a dell,
He began to yell
Those came to rescue found his body still

Rise and fall, both are parts of life, we are nothing but toys in unseen hands.

When fate strikes hard, there's no getting up again. I feel sorry for the poor guy but to err is human.

After the booze he did not care what happened to him. All left for others to worry.

At least he didn't suffer from a hangover! A very funny Limerick from one of our top poets.

Haha. Very funny. This also implicitly apprises us of the importance of being prepared when trying to relish a new experience.

A serious limerick with a dire warning. Excessive alcohol intake can be deadly whether it be driving a car, crossing a river or falling off a cliff. The judgement and reflexes are grossly impaired. Even an intoxicated walk home from a party can be the worst mistake of your life. Better to be sober and aware than drunk and dead.
