A great source of misinformation,
The history books of this nation.
Some half-truths in disguise
And a few outright lies,
They're indeed an abomination.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM

I found this fascinating book somewhere at a Goodwill store on this trip (don't remember what city) .
I have learned a lot and highly recommend this book to everyone. It was a dollar well spent.

Well, you'll believe anything, won't you? ! The only lie i found in high school history was that " all men are created equal" . Of course that is a LIE. I, Bri, am equal to........about 9 geniuses. [ 8.7694 to be exact ] bri ;)

I'm getting too old. I thought this was going to be a limerick about Chubby Checker. Well, I'm glad I clicked on it anyway - I learned about a new book & got a chuckle at how much we believed as kids. Santa was real too =: -)
