Listen To My Heart Poem by Abderrahmane Dakir

Listen To My Heart

Finally, I'm freed from my tethers,
I choose to go with my heart together,

Although my mind smiled imperceptibly,
It told me, you would suffer ruefully,

But my feeling fought frantically.
All my senses agreed and reiterated.
Echoing dream lies to passion.
And happiness lies to live it immediately.

I have been waiting avidly for this moment,
To explore deeply myself through this life.

When I listen to my heart,
I decipher the truth of life.

For the welfare of my soul I granted,
My life pursuing my dream as my heart has willed.
