Who is that "someone"? Will he ever appear?
Does he just work nights? Does he, days fear?
How does he know when you aren't asleep?
Does he, a vigil at your bedroom window, keep?

Is he insane? Can you trust this mysterious guy?
If he feels your pain, why does he "wait"? Why? ?
Aren't you tired of his slow move towards action?
Don't you wish his ‘wheels' had more TRACTION? !

It sounds as though he wants you to do ALL the work,
while he just holds hands and walks! Is he a jerk?
If I were him, I'd blow on your ‘love-ember' right away!
Helping your love-juices to flow, both night AND day.

If he keeps on waiting to take you to that "Heaven",
you're better off standing alone, outside a 7-Eleven,
swigging a Big Gulp and munching on a tasty cookie,
asking all single men you encounter: "Want some nookie? "
