In life,
You must love;
For love is
Most beautiful like a flower,
Most powerful like the sun,
Exhilarating,
Enchanting.
In life,
Spend your time loving;
For love is
Most worshipful like God,
Most truthful like Nature,
Enigmatic,
Ecstatic.
What is life?
If there is no one to love!
It would be like a pitch, dark night,
A dried up pond or a river,
A parched earth or a desert,
Keep on loving and loving,
To make life illuminating and fulfilling.
Love you must!
But go beyond your self.
For there is nothing more worthwhile,
Nothing better than a gentle touch of love,
Nothing better than a warm embrace of love,
Verily, Love is the real God in you -
The ambrosial, sweet elixir of life.
Very true.Love is the elixir of life good poem positive too.
Thank you Nasarudheen for your nice and positive comment.
Congratulations for your 300th poem on PH, Geeta ji. This poem nicely shows as to how love or its absence can impact the life of a man. Thanks a lot. I quote: A dried up pond or a river, A parched earth or a desert, Keep on loving and loving, To make life illuminating and fulfilling.
What a beautiful message! Love, love, love ‘to make life illuminating.' If people were aware of this truth, there would be no wars and the world would be a better place. We need people like you to spread love everywhere.Thank you!
Congrats on your 300th poem, Dear Geeta! You are right: Life without love is no life at all.
Dear madam, I have already visited and put a comment here. An endearing piece of poetry that gives me enormous pleasure to visit it multiple times. To my favourite

Your 300th poem had brought me love like the lovelorn calls of a turtledove And lit a fire in my harden heart so now a love-life I'll need to chart Thanks Geeta.
Deep down in your heart, love already exists in its purest form. Just have to look, recognise and attune. Thanks for the lovely verse in reply. I love it.
