Love And Lust Poem by Kesav Venkat Easwaran

Love And Lust

Love awakens any age
Fifties thirties teen
Grows to strength with steady rage
Ripe emotions sown!

Lust awakens any time
Midnight noon or morn
Goes to sleep that ready time
Mad water flown!

This poem is very well penned, and clearly eloquent. Two different stanzas to bind Love and Lust together and show their differences and links. I like the kind of timeless or 'lifetime through' association you give to love compared to Lust melted with dayly moments. Very nice.

A concise and creative poem written in verse with rhythmic splendour, focused and factual. A witty composition. Thanks for sharing.

Subtle difference of ‘AGE’ and ‘TIME’…indeed very Original…so common before our eyes but not in words…yeah…Poet’s feeling can delve and bring out the occult truth…thanks Sir.. 10 {heartfelt] Ms. Nivedita UK
