When I tell you
Love at fifty five,
I hear you chuckle;
I see you smile
I hear you say
With penchant eyes,
What a way
To go astray!
Listen! My mate!
To what I say
My love has age,
Years twenty five!
Young to behold
And young in mind
It won’t grey old
A million days!
None can quench
The ocean’s thirst!
The sky can hold
All this abundant light!

Believe me, love only gets better! Love at sixty-three is pretty good - but not with a partner of twenty five, thank you! I do like to be able to talk to my lover on equal terms! Anyway, your poem flows along nicely!
love is a feeling which keeps you younger...lovely..10
this poem s a lovely piece from a loving person, , , i like ths, , it makes me young, ,
I agree with this... NO matter how old we are, IT matters how OLD we are in our hearts! ! Youth can only be measured by the amount of happiness and joy we posses, not by age........ Bonnie
Your poetry reminds me of Swami Vivekananda’s disciple Tan Ten {Josephine Macleod] when asked about age she used to tell 2/3 years…Lo! She was young but how can be 2/3 years? She replied that she counts her age from first meeting with Swami-ji is equal to 2nd birth [spiritual] Love decreases age...but mind it age is but just a stupid number …has nothing to do with Love’s shelf life of lovers...lolol ...greater the intensity of love no matter what is the MFD and has no ED Voted 10 Ms. Nivedita UK MFD = Manufacturing date ED = Expiry date

Yes.. As you told..I smiled But not the one which you said but with utost love that still you have a youthful heart to love behold it till death It will make you young day after day very good poem regards sandhya
I think this is incorrigibly sweet and I agree completely. Funny how age becomes like this extra aspect of our persons that is always a threat to make us look ridiculous somehow.
You are permitted to change your age younger....what else then

This poem made me smile from ear to ear and most likely will continue to do so from year to year!
