Love In Time Poem by Dawn Novus

Love In Time

Rating: 5.0

My ten year one

My beloved son

Just turned to me and into my eyes said:

"Mum, time is like living and love is like being...

You reckon? "

"Yeah, I reckon" nonchalantly

Bursting full of a sweet feeling

Inside dying in pride.

A sweet poem Dawn. What a feeling it must be to hear your 10 year old say those wonderful things to you. Lovely.

Your son must have the intuition of a Poet's heart, Aside from being, very smart. Loved the last line, 'inside dying with pride' The mother's natural feeling and intuition, Of what to hide. A very different but quite memorable poem. Impressed.
