Love's Confessions Poem by Sandra Feldman

Love's Confessions

Rating: 5.0

When you're not around,
No moon, no stars
Are to be found.

When you're not around,
Every thing is still,
No thrill,
Is to be found.

But, when you suddenly appear!
The air is crisp and clear,
The sky is blue with cheer
And I, I am alive
Once more,
For,
Without you,
I am but a shadow
Of what was life
In me, before.

This is poetry sublimest, dear Sandra. Love is the cause of all precious things. At the touch of love, we feel mentally healthy again. Sublimest poem at the finest. I have enjoyed very much your unique poem.

Love makes us come alive! I am sure everyone feels this way. Using the shadow to describe how one feels when a loved one is not around....is a great way to express this. Well-crafted and penned and the ending definitely makes the poem powerful!
