Lovers Leap Poem by Bill Cantrell

Lovers Leap

Rating: 5.0

Nothing much to look at here,
Or so that it would seem
Departing were two lovers,
leaping in times stream
Tranquility flowing quietly
as waters carry memories of the dead
Rocks stand out as tombstones,
which time erodes as crumbled bread
No, nothing much to look at here,
or so that it would seem
One last drink, one last kiss,
they made their life a cherished dream
