Many A Moon (Fr. Sting) Poem by LeeAnn Azzopardi

Many A Moon (Fr. Sting)

Rating: 5.0

Sing me that Leonard Cohen song
As we waltz, green eyes to green eyes
I want to kiss you like I dreamt about long ago
And listen to you sing yr latest
How long have I wanted to see you?
Many a moon
With yr bottle-blonde hair
And yr curved nose that I adore
I'll make love to you only once
And return to my unfilled life
That would make me contented
As I seek fame no more

Great tribute to Sting, LeeAnn! I saw him in concert with Annie Lennox. My female friend said that Annie had stolen the show. Although I didn't admit it to her, she was right. But he was also great. I wish I had once seen Cohen!

Sing me that Leonard Cohen song As we waltz, green eyes to green eyes-------now that was a perfect entry into a poem, I can hear his husky voice shivering down my spine---a thousand stars, my dear
