Memories Like Rainfall… - Poem by Poonam Sethuretnam

All clouds join together and cover the sun, as all my memories are gathered…
The sky turns darker and darker, as my mind goes sadder…
Clouds become heavier with water, as I turn nostalgic…
It starts to drizzle, while I turn dreamy…
Drizzle turns to a heavy rain, while I exhilarate about the past school life…
As rainwater flows down the street, my memories too flow down in me…
As the rain fades down, my memories too fade into thin air…
As I miss the rain as it passed me, I miss my old friends…
