Mother 5 - My Mother's Love
I think of my loving mother, every day,
Calling me with tender concern,
Caressing me with her gentle hands,
Cheering me with witty stories,
Charming me with her sweet songs!
I think of my brave mother, every day,
When the rains pour down with a heavy thud,
When the rains splatter on the roofs in anger,
When thunder clatters on the window panes,
When storm whizzes past with a roaring rage!
I think of my protective mother, every day,
Knowing she would come running
To pick me up, when I trip, falter or fall
When I am sad and crying,
Knowing her spirit will wipe my tears!
I thank my beautiful mother, every day
For the amazing faith that she inculcated in me,
To strongly believe in the powers of the universe,
To trust God and his amazing plans,
Ever embracing me with the warmth of her love!
