When the red birds and blue birds,
Twitter tee - twitter tee- on tree tops,
In the early hours of tender dawn,
O Amma! I hear your voice calling me
Geeta………Geeta……….!
When the sun rises
With an ethereal morning glow,
O Amma! I see your sparkling eyes,
Looking at me full of love,
A face so charming and lovely!
When the daisies smile brightly,
When the periwinkle winks naughtily,
When the sunflower laughs joyfully,
O Amma! I see your smiling face
So beautiful, with a brilliant halo around you!
When a sweet breeze blows
Enveloping me with its cool fragrance,
O Amma, I feel your presence
Singing a soulful song,
Calling me again and again,
Geeta ….Geeta………….!
Your loving daughter
Geeta

Most beautiful and refined poem I ever read about the beloved and adorable Amma. I can feel the great emotions superbly, since my beloved Mom is just like your Amma, dear Dr. Geeta. Indeed I never forget my beloved Mom's presence either.

Loved it. Kind of like Edgar allen Poe's Raven minus the horror.
