Sopanam - the song of the spiritual steps,
Song of the rising sweet notes,
Song of the receding gentle melody,
Song of the pleasant lingering lyrics!
Sopanam - soothing song of the eternal lovers,
Song of their enchanting dance - ‘Rasakreeda'
Song of the charming emotion - ‘Sringara'
Song of everlasting love of Radha and Krishna!
Sopanam - song of the swaying palm leaves,
Song of the playful, cooling wind
Song of the red ‘Thetchi' and white ‘Mandaram' flowers,
Song of the ‘Tulasi' leaves and sweet-scented ‘Mallipoov'!
Sopanam - song of the ‘Ashtapadis',
Song of ‘Krishnattamkali'-Krishna and His Gopis,
Song of Kathakali heroes, war and peace,
Song of ancient legends and love stories!
Sopanam - The song of spirituality,
Song of the yearning soul,
Song of divine experience,
Song of the Kerala temples!
A sublime piece of work! You have beautifully revealed different facets of Sopanam, the eternal song.....ong of everlasting love of Radha and Krishna! These kind of poems provides sublime pleasure!
