My Inspiration (A Friend)
trees have twigs to support their leaves
have flowers to bear flowers
have shade to give shelter
and have hard roots to support the trunk...
flowers have many colors
they make the garden attractive
they feed the bees and butterflies
they make all the insects alive…
see how the rain comes?
it is a cloud forming water
from a distance pouring beyond
a shower from up above...
the rainbow in the sky
brings happiness to my eyes
different hues forming like bridges
mountain to mountain distance is so near...
sun sleeps at night
while moon rests at dawn
west wind blow at dusk
cold breeze waft at morn...
Aphrodite got the golden apple
in exchange to Helen of troy
Menelaus left alone unhappy and sad
when Paris took her to his land...
the Bible has many revelations
the Koran does the same
religions of different races
worship in one Supernatural Being....
see how each other relates the other
from trees to their parts
flowers to insects
objects in the sky
written in the pages of life...
each one needs the other
as other needs each one
see how friendship does
in a life of a large ocean....
