Not My Heart Poem by Esther Hadassah Sendeza

Not My Heart

Rating: 4.5

Stop looking into my eyes,
You'll find nothing there.
Stop trying to let yourself in,
I have locked all my doors.

Stop throwing your heart to me,
Because I won't give you mine.
Stop opening up to me
Because i won't let you in.

See I have built walls so high,
That no one can get past.
So, don't give me your heart,
Beacause darling, I won't give you mine.

The poet is heart-broken and sad, has decided to lock her heart! In simple words, she has expressed her feelings of disappointment and dejection. Congrats on your poem being chosen as POD.

At least you have said 'darling' at the end. That should please him.

I you want to come I let you come but not to me I let you come to see the wall which I built for you to see the thorns which I care on the rose garden to see the fire flame which I burnt for your coming path because when I wanted to give my whole you then you went to another and now when the expected one has gone then you want to come to me So I no need you I am good alone
