There's no bottom. This is an eternal plunge into things
that you don't want to know and that you have no idea as to
what to do about. Oh, and there's a third thing: even if you do
the right thing-those who you need to rely on and work with
to its objective, point, and resolve; they will not do the right thing.
So that you did the right thing will never be known. Will be a secret
that dies with you which perhaps killed you in the end and so as
well the beginning. It being. That being. It will die with you-
your terrible secret that you did the right thing, but nobody else did.
This very annoying circumstance presented by you in this excellent poem is something that happens over, and over again. There is only one consolation and " satisfaction" ..Knowing that if others didn't, at least you did the right thing which is in itself remarkable, knowing that today wrong seems to be more popular and winning over right.
Sandra, Thank you again for your insightful readings and understanding.
A brilliant work! It is always better to proceed in our own ways sans caring others...this is the hidden message of this poem....................10/10
A sublime poem with deep secret feelings portrayed in a fine intrigue. Kudos for the muse. Plz do read and comment my newest poem too titled, 'Babies cry anywhere '
The good things that we do secretly provide us mental strength secretly, strengthens our conviction, fulfills our satisfaction. So, regardless of whether our good things die with us remaining a secret, our efforts must go on to do good things!
So sad, but sometimes true that those who do the right thing never get credit for doing so, because nobody knows.

Indeed, that does sound like. The style you chose to express your thoughts was perfect. Your title was well chosen to stop a reader in his track. I agree with Dillip below but it is so hard to ignore the pain other people cause us, ism't it?
