This poem- like many others- mines various psychological, mythological, sociological schools of thoughts. This collection seem to marry morals, man's insaitable pleasure seeking, and self-indulgence and being indulged... all completes this inique poem. A 10++++

An emotional kaleidoscope of thoughts' shortcuts... different tastes, shapes of reality captured into one box, and you've been pulling them out one by one, leaving enough space for everybody to see their own picture... Very interesting and original... Thanks for sharing...

claustrophobic in a man's planet! a female is an item only, nothing more....solitaire the answer? succumb? questions are a slap in the face.....are men totally responsible? i think not...respect needs to be global to make an affect globally...there still are wives in.......who are beaten up daily by their husbands and the day they are not...they are not 'loved'....

You are a crusader for beauty and truth, saying women shouldn't be bought and sold or rubbished used as vessels or in adverts or commercials... I support you in this. You like playing with words and going in this direction might win you more readers. A poem that is fun to write is fun to read. Good luck in any case Ms. Bagchi.

I think you've captured aspects of insanity in our 'culture'... Thanks for your comments on 'there once...' Terry

In this male dominated world women are just Item to Savor Everywhere duping of women physique as crispy visual candy even in ads of Male items [shaving items vests etc] Women are exploited and the consumer durables peddlers are making purse fat and flab Seriously women are in need of space as poet writes, ' Than benude before/Million lurid junkies/ Feminine flesh bulimics! ' Splash of slaps to mod so-called civilized I've read poet's 'I Want To Be Raped'...I think sequel poetries More such we expect from Poet niv to bash the unruly Freudian 'ID' Thanks for sharing
