O Krishna!
will you please
make me realise your pain
that you had
when your beloved sakhi
was taken to the King's palace
to make her nude
Please make me
realise your pain
because your pain
is ever greater
than any one
I have read extracts from Mahabharat. I remember a Hindi pot, probably Bhooshan: = Sari beech nari hay ke nari beech sari hay, Sari hi ki nari hay ke nari hi ki sari hay. I haven't read the story of Sakhi, I shall try to find it on the net. The poem is impressive in the sense that naked body of women is exploited every where. Even advertising can't be imagined without this exploitation. A lovely write.
Redemption through pain! Krishna the saviour... beautiful expression
Pain is painful! An unique approach to view and understand the depth of pain.
you like to feel somebody else's pain you know how painful pains could be and you want to share his pain to at least ease the burden--nice and short krishna is a god, right?
