With one's birth
Their life is held
In the palm of two hands
It may be only two
Or there can be a strong
Family bond
Filled with love
Joy and security
With Family and many warm, loving hands
If there is not security
The beginning of this new life
Is often based
On luck
There can be painful stakes
On any given day
That form
Violence
Insecurities
Anxieties and heartaches
On growing
With these challenges
One day
You actually see
That you, yourself
Had many mountains
To climb
Every height you reached
You saw
That you, Yourself
Were quite remarkable
Your hurdles
Enriched you
To see
No matter
What side of your bread has butter
Or
Just what beliefs
You can have instilled
You are no less
Of a human being
Then, any other

This is an outstanding poem on the subject of hope, quite inspiring that celebrates a man's inherent strength to fight adversities and be a winner. Thanks.
You are no less Of a human being Then, any other ~ yeah, right; excellent motivational poem shared
A more than well written poem with the great virtue of hope skilfully woven in. Hope for oneself, each other and their futures. It reminds me of another superb poem of hope and game plan for life, Max Ehrmann's Desiderata. Maybe inspired by. Thank you Lyn Paul for writing and sharing. Five shining stars and enjoy life and all the good and great virtue's it can bestow.
I know exactly what you mean. I experienced anguish and do not wish it on any kid. Great poem
