Air kindles fire
The same air puts of the flame!
Water gives life
The same water destroys life!
Earth provides the place to live
The same earth swallows thousand lives!
Man builds the world
The same man destroys it cold!
Flowers waft sweet scents
The same fragrant flower later stinks!
Electric power rotates fast the fan
The same power kills by shock kills the man!
Waves caress our feet gently
The same waves consume lakhs fiercely!
Penetrating paradoxes
Unpredictable occurances
Sure beyond the man's control
Gift of God and the whip of nemesis!
it's like the match stick...used to light a lamp n also to set aflame...
A view of lifes light and dark, every reaction is a battle for balance between both that touch our lives, live or die we never know the reason why.. Andrew 10
utilisation is one thing and exploitaion another...any thing unethically disturbed will react....good write
sir, thanks for sharing your noble ideas with everyone. a very nice poem, this is true that everything in life has 2 sides, same with God's gifts.we must remember we should not waste or misuse any thing in life.
These paradoxes define life. Water, air, waves, fire, power, etc., benefit us in one form and are deadly if go beyond the range… wittily meditated and arranged… Abha
excellent job, the paradoxes one of many and few of few are true when looked out from the mirror of things. Reflected in this poem is a perfect sense of confusion, yet a true sense of wonder and curiousity. Greatly done. Sorry I couldn't comment sooner.
Your parsdoxes, are all paradigms and paragons of what we as a people creatively destroy, regardless of unbias bigotry....Excellent work, my friend. Sorry for the delay in visiting.... I no longer have the time for perfect metre, flouncing rhyme.... or words that drip with golden honey.... as i need to make green money..... to insure my family seed that they have a place to sleep! ~ FjR ~ ..2008..
A new concept perfectly depicted regarding the balance between man and nature...and nature will forever prevail...very unique Subbaraman.
Sir, Nature knows how to keep its balance. For every action there is a reaction. Excellent writing. regards anju
