Poisonous Imperialist
The blue sky
now under the capture of poems
there birds are flying with the poetic mind
coronavirus in the canvas of poems
no rooms for airplane, no rights to pollute
the winds of the space
the winds of the blue sky want freedom
from the game of naughty pollution
holding the poisonous hands of coronavirus
they want to capture the whole world
if the life of poems infected by the virus
will be deaf, dumb, blind
then will die with the bird group after group
no poems without the words will survive
have to die with the mask in the jaw of shut
the space freedom of life under the mask rules
that's where the imperialist coronavirus is flying

বিষাক্ত সাম্রাজ্যবাদী -
নীল আকাশ
এখন কবিতার দখলে
ওখানে পাখিরা উড়ছে কবিদের মনের সাথে
কবিতার ক্যানবাসে করোনা ভাইরাস
উড়োজাহাজের স্থান নেই, অধিকার নেই আর নষ্ট করার
সে শূন্যতার বাতাসকে
নীল আকাশের বাতাসরা মুক্তি চায়
নষ্টামির হাত থেকে
বিষাক্ত করোনা ভাইরাসের হাত ধরে
ওরা দখল করতে চায় এ পুরো পৃথিবীটাকে
কবিতার জীবন সে ভাইরাসে আক্রান্ত হলে
হবে মূক, বধির, অন্ধ
তারপর দলে দলে মরবে পাখিদের সাথে
অপরিচিত কোন এক জঙ্গলে
শব্দহীন কোন কবিতা আর জীবিত থাকবেনা
শব্দের মুখে মুখোশ নিয়ে মরতে হবে
জীবনের মুক্ত শূন্যতা মুখোশের দখলে
সাম্রাজ্যবাদী করোনা ভাইরাস উড়ছে যেখানে

You have exact metaphors for the much-feared corona virus. The virus is like an imperialist, a bird or a plane in flight the way it spreads to different countries.
You are an innocent gentleman and a good poet. Don't go near Robert Murray Smith. He is like coronavirus
How something so small can become something so big! A great work, Mahtab.
It seems the poet wrote the Bangla version first. I wish I could read Bengali.
Yet, humanity is endowed with the power of the mind and heart to terminate these evils and through unity of humanity we will conquer this minute virus and imperialism. A great poem so wonderfully crafted. A poem woven by a brilliant mind.
A great metaphorical write. Imperialism is greediness. A political move to dominate the whole world by conquering every bits and pieces of humanity. Corona virus despite of its small size wants to dominate the whole body and eventually terminates existence.
A nice metaphor, a timely given message, we should be thoughtful to this poem.
