Anticipation
Opens a bloom near my reach
Untouched yet the heat
Illumination
Unfolds a radiant scene
Awake yet in dream
Now would that be our wonderful Patricia of old english tallent, what a star she is and what a brilliant tribute this is for her 10, without fail, for two great poets Love duncan X
Tailor...haiki? ok....do the zen budhists know about this literary makeover....hah! Ki or ku, this is a splendid display of Contemporary style theme w/ the traditionalist metering....fine pen, Tailor......''''''''''''FJR
I don't like these sort of pieces as a rule. I feel that westerners use them to make quips or to seem clever. They always strike me as being lazy with a profoundness attatched to the idleness. This, however, gives me pause for thought. You have achieved a real sense of beauty and captured an essence in this. I get the feeling that this was not a quick hack work, but something that had a lot of care put into it. You should be congratulated for making me look at the for anew with this wonderful composition.
Was wondering why its a haiki, maybe its a female version. This is a lovely dedication to a lovely poet. 'Splendid' in true Patricia style! Preets
This haiku is so poetically beautiful, seems to be absorbed straight into the mind filled with vivid imagery and definition. Absolutely love this one! Thank you for sharing it. RoseAnn
Yeah, you certainly have the knack for the ku. I occasionally try my hand at this form, but usually come up short. Patricia must indeed be worthy of the multi-gemmed tiara.
Absolutely beautiful Haiku's Tailor, lucky lady Patricia. I like these very much----Melvina

For some reason this reminds me of Erik Satie's Gymnopedes. Not a word wasted. love, Allie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
