The scent of vanilla
In my garden villa
On auspicious night
Call me to blight
As selenicereus grandiflorus
Spreads its petelous arms
Twinkling so bright
That my eyes caught.
Train of sleep, long off
I now wish to see it puff
The whole night I gathered
Bliss of opening petals, I witnessed.
Family of catus, though it is
Stood straight even in arid times
Just for one night bliss
As the night blooming dehisce.
Wallet of wonders fills
As my labor bills
Repaid with its smile
As the whole night they beguile.
O cactus! O cactus!
Life would be this,
I never thought it
But your rare existence, made it.
