Raindrops On Flowers Poem by Geeta Radhakrishna Menon

Raindrops On Flowers

Rating: 5.0

Raindrops on pink Lotuses,
So divine and spiritual;
Raindrops on red Roses,
So passionate and beautiful;
Raindrops on Hibiscus,
So colourful and ravishing;
Raindrops on wild Blue flowers,
So cute and endearing;
Raindrops on white Jasmine flowers,
So fragrant and mesmerising;
Raindrops on trees and leaves,
So dewy, dainty and flourishing;
Raindrops on my imaginative mind,
So gentle, dreamy and soulful!

Beautiful Raindrops indeed epitomize purity and peace. I loved the way it’s been used on flowers

Dew drops are symbol of purity, Tears of joy from infinity, An acknowledgement of divinity, Tears of joy or a charity, Simply nature's nobility, Sweetheart! It's beauty's amazing gravity, In my love, you may see it all together, Think, how my kiss changes the inside weather!

Dear madam, you have so brilliantly inscribed about raindrops on different kinds of flowers using different type of adjective so incisively. How raindrops can create an imaginative mind of a poet is astutely painted in concluding lines. It may be cited...Raindrops on my imaginative mind, / So gentle, dreamy and soulful! Beautiful work. This poem is going to my poem list. Thank you very much.10

Dew drops resting wobbly on leaves of trees, petals of flowers or blades of grass are so lovely to view. When the sunbeams fall on them they reflect a spectrum of colors! Such dew drops illumine a poet's mind, sweet poems as this are born!

Here in our dry climate the sight of rain beads on flowers—especially at or near dawn—is like a drink to the soul. I relate to this, Geeta. -Glen
