It’s a rainy July night
Sky with thunder light
A hard wind on fight
All made me lose sight
Of my path of right
It made my lips tight
Legs like fallen kite
Hands with red bite
Hearts beat on quite
Life seems like a trite
Moving looks like plight
With my hope in slight
I doubt my own flight
Now I feel like blight
With no ray of delight
I’m lonely in this fright
Gifted with hard sprite
A head like a wright
Always tells it’s alright
Walk it makes you bright
I listened it in polite
And wrote this recite
On a sheet of white
It’s my words tonight
Morning, light will invite
I read it at one go, right? It gave me so much delight and shows your poetic might! It is a nice composition. This is what we call 'antya prasa kavitvam' in our Telugu. So nice. Cograts.
I'm glad the rain don't last always. Very flowy and rhythmic. Lovely.
beautiful rhyming words to express your predicament of getting stuck outdoors during a July downpour. The darkness with chilling winds and the rains lashing at you with the roar of the thunder and the flashes of the lightning. Actually I miss all that. Thanks for reminding.

The pleasantness of monsoon rainfall in the cheeky month of July with summer at full bloom and rainfall creating ripples in sun's activity is very wonderfully crafted in this poem. The overwhelming empowerment of the rain has made you able to write such a splendid poem..... Best Wishes Naseer
