Children you come soon,
Come and here sit down.
With care you listen to me,
Look at my face words see.

‘A', stands for apple, ‘B ‘, for ball,
Who can touch it is sure tall.
‘C', stands for cat ‘D', for Dog,
Who can see soon in mist fog?

‘E', stands for erase ‘F', for fall,
‘G', stands for God, you nod all.
‘H', for hand, ‘I', for tell you ink,
‘J', stands for jump, ‘K', for kink.

‘L', stands for learn, ‘M', for mom
‘N', stands for name, ‘O', orange come.
‘P' for post tells, ‘Q' for quick stands,
‘R', you read S for shake your hands.

‘T', for take for ‘U', understands soon,
‘V', stands for vote, ‘W', for walk at noon.
‘X', stands for Xerox, ‘Y', stands for yellow,
‘Z', stands for zeal, soon call God hello.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This is a learning poem for children to learn A to Z with affection towards God. Here poet invites children and tells to sit down. Then he starts teaching after inviting to look at his face. Each letter stands for word and followed by some poetic style. Through this style poet thinks that children surely will learn some values and words and will recognize God and all will bow their heads in devotion. Then after learning from A to Z they will call God hello. This is the theme of this poem in nutshell. This poem is written in village Gandam of Deogarh district in Odisha, India and dedicated to the people and children of the world on this day of 6th January 2015.
