Just for today, I am living, moment to moment with joy,
Watching the morning sunrise with gratitude for its golden beams,
Just for today, I am living, moment to moment with joy,
Touching the tender little flowers that grow in my garden with gleam!
Just for today, I am living, moment to moment with joy,
Watching the squirrel scuttling up and down the tree with glee!
Just for today, I am living, moment to moment with joy,
Touching the little pebbles of life and feeling its warmth and glow!
Just for today, I am living, moment to moment with joy,
Watching the birds on the trees singing hopefully and merrily!
Just for today, I am living, moment to moment with joy,
Listening to the inner voice to enjoy every precious moment!
I do not know about tomorrow! But now, I promise!
To live a life, with a merciful heart for the gift of life on earth.
