Resting Awhile Count 2-5-8-3 (Hb) (Revised) Poem by Heather Burns

Resting Awhile Count 2-5-8-3 (Hb) (Revised)

Rating: 5.0

As I
enter this chamber
of silence resting renewing
my spirit

Laying
the burdens of life
down one by one they diminish
fade away

Climbing
the ladder one step
at a time a new piece of mind
ascending

In this
quest my soul is laid
bare before my loving savior
now I rest.

The rhythm of this poem and its succint form is like a whispered wish.

In silence, we are able to lay our souls bare before Him and we are filled with a serene tranquillity! This poem provides a soothing feel! !
