आ भर ले अपना पैमाना आँगन में बहारें आई हैं
पतझड़ के दिन पीछे छूटे खुशियाँ ही खुशियाँ छाई हैं
समय के पंछी को देखो है थोड़ा और कयाम उसका
पंखों में हैं उसकी परवाज़ें उड़ जाने की कसमें खाई हैं

Come, fill the cup, and in the fire of spring
Your winter garment of repentance fling.
The bird of time has but a little way
To flutter - and the bird is on the wing.
