Satish had suffered a lot since his childhood
And the trauma remained the part of his art
His paintings reflected the upheavels of life
But with Kiran coming into life as better half
The lines and the colours became exuberant
The pain softened; silence got an expression
Warmer shades and colours replaced despair
Structures, lines and colours were disciplined
And more pronounced in his form and style.
Wow sometimes a better half does make life better and enhances our hobbies eh. An interesting superb poem indeed. Kudos.
Thanks for your kind words and appreciation, Zaynab Ma'am. Satish is one of the most celebrated artists (painter, sculptor and architect) in India today. He is in his nineties.
Kiran sounds like a painter who has overcome problems and trauma to become a very good artist. A fine poem indeed.
Lovely write...Fortunate is that person whose life partner is indeed the better half...
Warmer shades and colours replaced despair Structures, lines and colours were disciplined And more pronounced in his form and style. Super Shades of an artiste's life beautifully expressed. 10
Geeta ji, I am grateful to you for your appreciative comments on the poem and continuous support. Thanks a lot.
I do agree but in the present case, the artist's wife Kiran proved to be a big moral and emotional support in life. Thanks for your kind visit and comments, Nadia Umber.

He had suffered a lot since his childhood and the trauma remained the part of his art You have touchingly inscribed his pain with his art here. A well executed poem shared amazingly.10
