Walking along the sea shore
Seagulls flying off the shore
The Wind is singing a new song
The cool breeze and the smell of salt
Sweeping through my soul
The Sun is sinking into the sea
The waves rolling towards me
The sand drains to tickle my feet
Leaving the pebble on the floor
So shiny and sparkling to adore
Shaped by the splashing waters
Engulfed by the roaring waves
Touched by the deepest floors
Eroded by the scary turbulence
The pebbles traveled miles and miles
Reached out and touched my soles
The Wind is singing a new song The cool breeze and the smell of salt These are like the running commentaries of salty wind fingering through the hairs..you render a fresh sea-bath to your reader, free of cost and free of tiresome journey. Thanks Rini for this lovely poem. 10++
Thanks subhas, every time I read this poem I feel as if i am on the sea shore
Great poem, Rini! I have just been at the sea and love it so much. I actually picked up some pebbles and brought them home for a friend, but they lose their sparkle as soon as they're out of the sea, right?
Everything lose is beauty when removed from its original environment.. Pebbles needs water and sunlight to get the sparks.. And so you and me need our loved ones around us to get the sparks from within.
Walking along the sea shore! ! Thanks for sharing this poem with us.
Yes. A wonderful feeling to be out on the beach. It's surreal. Thank you for reminding me of summer days. :)
