Set Free
my heart is heavy full of pain
many dark splotches of regret it is stained
longing for release I wish to cry
there is none for my cheek is left dry
there is but one way to turn for my escape
the razor blade is sharp, ready to fix my mistake
a dropp of blood breaks the silence empty sound
as it falls to the cold hard ground
pain from inside flows out through the cut
was longing for help but now the door to my heart is shut
its just me trapped all by myself: its too late
forever here drowned in a sea of burdens i must wait
longing for something else to save me
until then cutting sets me free

your words longing for something else to save me until then cutting sets me free cry out to me...but alas, I cannot save you, only you can do that..but... ....I Can.... I can offer a beam of light to put a glow upon your path... I can wrap you in my soul to protect you from the wrath.... I can hold your heart so close and tie it in a sash.... I can soothe the pain and stave the rash.... I can be the beam of light that shows you the way... I can send the sun and let you bath in its ray.... I can stand beside you and hold your evil dreams.... I can stand in front of you and thwart his evil schemes....
