Shadows In The Night - Poem by Dave Alan Walker

I was dreaming
that I had died
I was following
the shadows in the night

They took me
to a bright light
where I saw my mothers eyes

Then I saw
my daughters eyes in my mind
and knew I could not leave
my world behind

I forced my mind
to pull me back,
Back to open my eyes
in a world I belong

Yes, thinking about those we love, especially children, that would bring us back for sure. (Report) Reply

Interesting dream, one wonders what goes on in one's subconscious amidst the daily life. (Report) Reply
