Silent Moments Poem by JOE POEWHIT

Silent Moments

Rating: 5.0

First look at morning light.
Birds sing in mid flight.
Dew upon the green grass.
Silent breeze, sun light brass.
Golden morning with purple clouds.
Some flowers sprouted and proud.
Fallen leaf floats upon a lake.
Willow branch hung like a rake.
Stolen moment before dawn.
Silent waters with a lake fawn.
Cries come from the silent deep.
Glad I have seen a tiny peak.
