Simple Verse. No.9. Love At First Sight - Poem by Valsa George

A spark lit through presence
Fanned through glance
Brightened through absence
Blazed through romance
Steadied through alliance
Tested through defiance
Weakened through silence
Oft extinguished through clash

Love at first sight is after all either blind or beyond reason
If accepted, it is a folly of prudence
And if and when rejected it is a bubble of despair...
Love after many a sight has no tale to tell either....
If culminated in matrimony, it is a convention trespassed
And if extended without that, it is a conviction imbibed.

A simple verse for a high cause.
