Stephanie
I am so grateful,
You appeared on my horizon.
Your smiling eyes,
Quirky, such sweet company.
Every truth you have,
Passes over your lips,
And into the middle of me.
You turned my life sideways,
And, head tilted,
Asked how it got there.
Your smile took me to paradise,
I started to dance to your music,
And sing to your song.
When I thanked you for saving me,
You threw your head back to laugh,
Unaware of how much you had done.
Your laughter in my heart,
Is the answer to my prayers.
You are the sun rising on my new day
Every day
