We have conscience,
we want paradise.
Stop violence,
it's antagonist of paradise.
Embracing individual differences,
shows we are mature.
Nigerians,
have clear consciences
with ourselves,
for a great future.
Stop violence.
Learn patience.
Nigeria my country,
let's live in peace and unity.
A well penned piece of the day. Truly exceptional. Congrats on your featured poem...5 stars *****
Agreed stop violence. I get depressed to see such a beautiful country like Nigeria curtailing the freedom of its people my people African people. I suspect you are suffering from the machinations of Britain where they installed military rulers after independence. Military men belong to the barracks. As my former president Robert Mugabe said. Politics must lead the gun
A good, patriotic poem. 'Stop violence, it's antagonist of paradise' - very well said, it's true! Heartiest congratulations on your poem being selected as the 'Member Poem of the Day'!
SO CREATED IN 2012 and SUBMITTED in 2020. CONGRATULATIONS being chosen as The Member Poem Of The Day. Hooray! Great honour for Ehimika to win this Prize of PH. Is your THOUGHT still like you worded here in 2012 when you had that mandatory as a corper? An excellent self portayed poem, and so the foreign reader is informed about Nigeria through a corper's eyes. Amazingly written in a very honest way.5 stars Full Vote. To MyPoemList.
