To wish a life without the slant upward
is to wish a dim life
without the excitement of rising
without effort, just jostling
on the shore. To climb is to experience
the ascent itself-in all its moments
of revelations-the heart-break, the fatigue,
the peak within, the footprints
left by so many civilisations,
how co-hikers grow thinner and thinner
until you are the only alpinist. You see
something of your own soul in the plants,
animals and birds that no museums
could hold what nature so effortlessly
creates. That many paths lead to the top
but there's only one summit-love, is
the epiphany.
A great poem well executed and crafted. It propels a reader to rise and reach that peak where no one has ever conquered. One of the best inspiring poems I have ever read. Onto my Poem List.

If there are no trials and tribulations, life would be dull indeed. We need to be always searching confronting problems to become the best. Mohabeer Beeharry
Man is driving climb to reach above his place to reach summit, but nothing one reaches is as important as finding love.
