Ascetic winter
Wraps the mountains with silver.
It forbids the waves
From dancing in the great seas
And hastily drags the night.

FOUR: TOP Marks and this beauty goes to My Favourites
THREE: The night is hastily dragged, could be a metaphor for the long nights of winter. Thank you for sharing this brilliant poem, my dear friend which I have enjoyed tremendously
TWO: The mountains are wrapped in silver, perhaps referring to the snow that covers them. The waves are forbidden from dancing in the great seas, which could represent the stillness of the water during winter.
Fantastic imagery and sophisticated vocabulary! Thank you for this piece of beauty!
It's dimply great. You have found out the ascetic in the winter. One who finds poetry in rigid segments of nature is reallya grest poet
The Austere Winter or 'Ascetic winter' here is a king, who Wraps the mountains with silver and calming the seas with peace in long winter nights, such as warrior rests after battle.. these harmontic imageries from the nature is a fabulous gift from our excellent poet Rose.
