The Ended Poem by Indira Renganathan

The Ended

Rating: 5.0

When loneliness feels depressed
A pocket radio sings from far street
A distant song hits romantic

Sombre in heart grandma is stirred
She likes it yet in a sombre mood..
Granddaughter enters with "oh, so romantic..! ! "

She utters hundred times.Surprised
Grandma quips"in love sweetie? "
Grandchild winkles a smile so romantic

Then she says "you too're so touched"
Grandma throws a sombre smile.Song stops.
Grand ma says.."oh, over..gone... romantic"
