The Jinx between these statements
I haven't spotted yet
Which one of these, positive?
Which one, negative?
The word- what- is the witch
That decides what is which!

I think first line of this poem is negative, its tone clears that the bad luck you faced is due to your karma. The second line is positive, its tone says if so rapidly became popular, your poems deserved this honor.
