.
Seek the joy
in the words
we use.
Words have power
a dark power.
Words can bite
and words can leave scars
awful scars in the hearts
and the minds
of those who speak them
and those the words are unleashed on.
.
Seek the joy
in the words
we use.
Words have power
a beautiful power.
Words can soothe
and words can heal the scars
the awful scars in the hearts
and the minds
of those who speak them
and those the words are lavished upon.
.
When we walk with God
and talk with God
It is God's Words that we hear
and God's words that are on our hearts
bringing joy and healing.
When we don't walk with God
and talk with God,
our words are not God's Words
and can bring
pain and strife
to us and to others.
.
Your voice
and my voice
are a gift
a precious gift
from God our Heavenly Father.
May all our words be from God
and may God-breathed words
bring joy
to the heart and soul
of both yourself
and those who hear you.
.
Bless me O Lord with the words
I should speak today.

Yes, words have the magical power of transforming situation and trends. Concurrently, it can do all damages. A wonderful extension of part 1.. admired!
Such a precious work......enjoyed thoroughly......thank u, dear poetess......
Very true! .. And Oh so beautifully spoken! .. Beautiful sentiments with beautiful heart! .. Definite 5 Stars! ..+++++
Tongues lifted in praise! The tongue can be a constructive or destructive little instrument. Taming one's tongue probably more difficult than taming a ravenous tiger.
God is the only poet, we can be his poetry with good words or we can choose dark words thus dishonoring Him, truly a great poem Susan!
Words have positive as well as negative power. They impact life in a big way.We should be careful in our use of words.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.(John 1,1) Great poem!
